This morning we had a little crafty holiday party in my studio. Everyone brought projects they’ve been working on. We ate, drank, laughed, glued and glittered our way into the afternoon. I couldn’t resist photographing this little be-hatted snowman made from an empty POM Wonderful bottle. This will be filled with M&M’s and given away as a cleverly repurposed, handmade gift. When Janet arrived, she had already spray painted the bottle white. Next, she

 
dug around in my supplies and found a wooden ball with a flat surface.
She painted the wooden ball white
Dug through my stash of plaid and cut out a cute little scarf
Use a permanent Sharpie to make a face on the snowman
Cut out a piece of orange felt for a carrot nose
Bent some pipe cleaners for arms
Glued the wooden ball on top of the lid
Molded a felt hat out of scrap felt
Added some red glitter glue just for sparkle.
Now, she’ll pour in M&M’s and give away this clever conversion
